Awoniyi and Onyeka Feature as Tottenham Beat Coventry 3-1 for First League Win

Taiwo Awoniyi and Frank Onyeka came on in the 60th minute as Coventry lost 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur in Monday night’s Premier League match. Tottenham took the lead in the 14th minute through James Maddison, who curled a first-time effort into the top corner. Coventry levelled four minutes after the break following poor defending from Spurs. Omar Marmoush restored Tottenham’s lead in the 58th minute before Ben Davies sealed the win in stoppage time. The result moved Tottenham up to 16th place on six points, one spot above Coventry on goal difference.
