Emir of Zazzau’s Emissaries Host Oluwo of Iwoland for Cultural Dialogue in Kaduna
His Imperial Majesty Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, Oluwo of Iwoland, arrived in Kaduna for a two-day cultural engagement with the state’s Yoruba community. Emissaries of the Emir of Zazzau and local Yoruba leaders gave him a warm welcome and joined him in prayers for peace, unity and prosperity. The monarch participated in Jumu’ah prayers at Ansar-Ud-Deen Central Mosque and called on all Yoruba people to safeguard the dignity of their traditional institution. He urged communities at home and abroad to uphold authentic Yoruba values and guard against practices that could undermine their heritage. On day two, the palace says the Oluwo will lead interactive sessions focused on strengthening cultural preservation, reinforcing unity and advancing Yoruba heritage across Nigeria.
