Nigerian Insurtech Seeks Operations Executive for NAICOM Compliance Role
An early-stage Nigerian insurtech focused on the blue economy is hiring an Operations Executive. The successful candidate will help build the company’s operations and compliance systems as it works with NAICOM, insurers, technology partners and customers. Responsibilities include coordinating NAICOM sandbox and licensing processes, preparing regulatory submissions, tracking compliance deadlines and changes, maintaining audit-ready records, and identifying operational risks. The role also involves coordinating partners, monitoring performance and customer complaints, improving procedures, and preparing reports and presentations for management, regulators, investors and partners. Applicants need a B.Sc. in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Economics, Law or a related field, plus a relevant MBA or M.Sc. They should have at least five years of relevant experience in insurance operations, compliance or financial services. NAICOM experience is an advantage; CIIN certification and legal or compliance training are also beneficial. Candidates should be organised, resourceful and comfortable working in an early-stage company. Strong reporting skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and other digital tools are required.
