Urgent Help Needed: Chronic Painful Buttock Wound That Will Not Heal
Hello NaijaWorld family, I urgently need advice for my friend. He has had a painful wound around his buttocks since about 2016. It keeps swelling, opening, and discharging pus and blood. He has tried several antibiotics and injections without improvement. He says he does not have diabetes and does not smoke. Tests including a biopsy, culture, and imaging have reportedly been done, but he is exhausted from visiting hospitals without a clear solution. I am also worried because he has spoken about harming himself. Please, if you know a qualified dermatologist, general surgeon, wound-care specialist, hospital, NGO, or other legitimate support service in Ondo, Akure, Lagos, or nearby, kindly point us in the right direction. He needs urgent medical and mental-health support.
