Music producer Femi Dapson says he left a comfortable senior role at Winners’ Church because he feared becoming too settled. Speaking in an interview, Dapson said the role gave him access to high-profile people and a lifestyle he enjoyed, despite not having a university degree. He decided to relocate to Lagos to build an independent career. He said he briefly worked as a cleaner before seeing a job advert in a newspaper. Although other applicants had university degrees, he said his confidence and previous work experience helped him secure a junior editor role.
