Did King Solomon Die From an Infection?

When I hear “vanity upon vanity,” King Solomon is one of the first people who comes to mind. He was known for wisdom, immense wealth, many wives and concubines, yet he still wrote deeply about vanity and human weakness. I wonder whether his warnings in Proverbs and Ecclesiastes came from personal experience. With his lifestyle, could he have died from an illness or infection, described in biblical language as an infirmity? A word may be absent from an ancient text, but that does not mean the condition or experience did not exist. Language changes with time and context. To me, some of Solomon’s advice reads like lessons drawn from his own excesses.
