Barau FC Aim Higher After Strong Start to New NPFL Season, Says Agagbe
Barau FC coach Eugene Agagbe says the Kano-based club are determined to achieve more in the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season. The Maliya Boys opened their campaign with a 3-1 home win over Nasarawa United at the Sani Abacha Stadium. They will next face fellow promoted side Kun Khalifat FC in Owerri. Agagbe said Barau FC’s eighth-place finish on 52 points in their debut top-flight season gave the team valuable experience. He added that the players are prepared to give their best in every match as they pursue bigger goals.
