A Prayer to Know Jesus More Deeply

Lord Jesus, I long to know You more deeply and draw closer to You each day. I know of Your birth, ministry, death, resurrection and Your place at the Father’s right hand. But I desire a personal and intimate relationship with You in every area of my life. Help me to identify with Your death, die to self and live in the newness of life. Let me know the power of Your resurrection and remain faithful through suffering, as I grow in grace and in the knowledge of You. May my life reflect Christ more fully each day, until I can truly say that Christ lives in me. I ask this in Your precious name. Amen.
