Draw God’s Help Through Willing Service
Today, I will share how God’s children can attract His help by serving Him willingly, joyfully, and wholeheartedly. In Genesis 18:1–10, Abraham ran to welcome three strangers, offering them rest under a tree and a meal. By doing so, he unknowingly hosted God’s presence. His hospitality led to the healing of Sarah’s barrenness. Those who serve God voluntarily always attract His help. When instrumentalists insist on payment before they minister, they may receive wages, but they should not expect special blessings. A son who asks his father to pay him before washing the car misses the joy of a willing act. God sees the heart and rewards wholehearted service. Serving God differs from serving man. Humans can be swayed by outward performance, but God examines the heart. As Paul wrote, “I will gladly spend and be spent” for God’s work. Serve Him with all your heart, and He will never forget your labour of love (Hebrews 6:10).
