Warning: Beware of ‘Queen Esther’ Online Scam

Warning: Beware of ‘Queen Esther’ Online Scam — 1 of 2
1 / 2

I recently learned about a report of an online scam involving a person identifying herself as Queen Esther (also known as Esther Sadiku). She allegedly collected funds and then went silent. According to the complainant, she later resurfaced using a different phone number and began replying to messages. The screenshots shared below are part of his account of what exchange looked like. This notice is to remind everyone to verify the identity of anyone you transact with online. Always keep records of chats and payments, and avoid sending money without clear proof of legitimacy. If you believe you’ve been defrauded, preserve all evidence and report the case to the appropriate authorities. Feel free to share your thoughts respectfully.

It seems odd that someone would reappear under a new number with no explanation after taking people's money.

While scams are common, we shouldn't assume every report is accurate without some official confirmation or evidence.

Always verify the identity of anyone requesting funds online and consider using traceable payment methods to reduce risk.
