Joshua Kushner: Thrive Capital Founder, Oscar Health Co-Founder and Billionaire Investor

Joshua Kushner is an American billionaire investor and entrepreneur. He founded Thrive Capital, co-founded health insurer Oscar Health and helped launch social-games company Vostu. He is also a co-owner of real-estate firm JK2 and a minority investor in professional basketball franchises. Born in Livingston, New Jersey, in 1985, Kushner studied at Harvard College and Harvard Business School. He is married to model Karlie Kloss, and the couple have three children. His business record includes Oscar Health’s public listing, investments in media and film, and the planned revival of Life magazine through Bedford Media. JK2 has also faced serious criticism and legal findings over tenant-treatment and consumer-protection violations at Baltimore-area properties. Kushner’s estimated net worth is about $5.2 billion, making him one of the wealthiest members of the Kushner family.
