Wike Vows No FCT District Will Miss Out on Tinubu’s Infrastructure Drive
Mr. Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, assured Abuja residents at the inauguration of the 3.4 km Collector Road CO1 and CO2 in Mabushi that every district will benefit from President Tinubu’s infrastructure programme. He highlighted the completed Karu road network and a new interchange linking Jahi and Gwarinpa as evidence of balanced development across the city. Wike noted that these improved roads have spurred a real estate boom, with contractors racing to finish new houses and eager buyers flooding the market. He contrasted this progress with past administrations that once relied on helicopters to reach high-brow districts, stressing that Tinubu’s logistical support and political will have driven rapid delivery. Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, the President commended Wike for turning blueprints into driveable roads and ensuring no district is left behind. Federal Capital Development Authority officials added that the projects, awarded earlier this year, will open Mabushi to investment, cut travel times, and enhance security.
