Nigeria to Host CAF Ordinary General Assembly This November
The Confederation of African Football has confirmed Nigeria as the venue for its Ordinary General Assembly in November. This announcement was made by CAF President Patrice Motsepe during a press briefing in Johannesburg. Motsepe praised Nigeria as a “proud football nation.” He said the assembly in Abuja will be part of CAF’s wider efforts to drive development across all 54 member countries after the 2026 World Cup. He stressed that every African nation should benefit from CAF initiatives and investments, highlighting plans for special programmes in countries like South Africa, Kenya and Cameroon.
