Buratai Hails Tinubu’s N1.245 Trn Gombe–Biu Highway Dualisation

Former Army Chief Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai (rtd) has praised President Tinubu’s approval of the N1.245 trillion dualisation of the 139 km Gombe–Biu highway. He says reviving the 1962 road will boost commerce, stimulate regional integration and unlock the North East’s economic potential. Buratai commended the Minister of Works and the Governors of Gombe and Borno for their support. He highlighted the highway’s strategic role in strengthening military logistics for counter-insurgency operations and called on residents to back its swift execution.
