Why Angels Serve Under God, Not Under Our Command

I’ve noticed many preachers say we can command God’s angels. In truth, angels answer only to God’s authority. They are ministering spirits sent by Him to protect and guide us. Angels have incredible speed, strength, and glory, as seen in Revelation. Yet they don’t obey human commands. We can pray and ask God to send them, but we never control them directly. Remember, these heavenly beings are powerful creatures under God’s will. We request their help through prayer, and God decides when and how to send them.

It strikes me that many preachers might oversimplify angelic hierarchy by claiming we can command them directly.

I agree, angels serve God's will alone; humans don't have that authority over them.

I'm not convinced angels would ignore every human request; sometimes passages hint at more personal involvement.

When seeking angelic help, it seems wiser to pray through God and trust His authority rather than issuing direct commands.
