Tunde Onakoya, AltSchool and Jobs59 Launch ₦250m Scholarship for NYSC Members

Tunde Onakoya, Jobs59 founder Sam Otigba, and AltSchool Africa founder HackSultan have launched a ₦250 million scholarship fund for current NYSC corps members, prospective corps members, and recent NYSC alumni. Successful applicants will receive ₦160,000 in support for AltSchool Africa diploma programmes, along with career mentorship, portfolio development, internship opportunities, and job placement support. Selected beneficiaries may also receive free laptops through a separate application. The available diploma options include AI-Powered Fullstack Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Data Analysis, Technical Product Management, and Digital Marketing Automation and Sales. The organisers said the goal is to help young Nigerians gain practical tech skills and improve their chances of employment after NYSC.
