Sporting Lagos Win Derby as Barau FC Extend Unbeaten NPFL Run
Sporting Lagos claimed a 3-0 derby win over Inter Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan. Sodiq Ayoade opened the scoring in the seventh minute, while Aliyu Baba and Valentine Ogwu added second-half goals. Barau FC stayed unbeaten after defeating Ranchers Bees 3-1 in Kano. Ahmadu Liman gave Barau the lead before Mohammed Rabiu Zulkifilu equalised for the visitors. Late goals from Kennedy Otunuya and Sugau Aliyu secured the points for the hosts. Elsewhere, Abia Warriors drew 2-2 with Ikorodu City, Bendel Insurance beat Kun Khalifat 4-2, and Kwara United defeated Katsina United 3-0 in Ilorin.
