One Dead, Seven Injured as Gombe State Assembly Complex Collapses
One person died and seven others were injured when a section of the new Gombe State House of Assembly complex under construction collapsed on Friday, July 10, 2026. Emergency responders worked quickly to free trapped workers from the rubble. According to the National Emergency Management Agency in Gombe, three of the injured were taken to the Federal Teaching Hospital, while five were moved to the Gombe State Specialist Hospital for treatment.
