Receive the Promise of Power

You are holy and filled with the Holy Spirit. You have been made clean by Calvary. Now God has promised you power to be His witness everywhere (Acts 1:8). The same Spirit who moved over the waters at creation (Genesis 1:2) filled Moses, Joshua, Caleb, Othniel, Gideon, Samson and many others. He anointed Joseph with wisdom and David with victory. He empowered the prophets and even Jesus of Nazareth to heal and deliver (Acts 10:38). Will you receive Him today? Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit as Peter declared (Acts 2:38,39). Amen.
