10th Nigeria–EU Business Forum Set for Lagos to Boost Trade and Investment
On 25 June 2026, the Federal Government and the European Union will host the tenth Nigeria–EU Business Forum in Lagos. The gathering will bring together senior policymakers, investors and business leaders to deepen economic cooperation between Nigeria and Europe. This milestone edition will focus on mobilising private capital, strengthening value chains and expanding business opportunities across both markets. Attendees will participate in high-level discussions, targeted business-to-business engagements and an exhibition of investment-ready projects. EU Ambassador Gautier Mignot describes the forum as a platform where ambition meets execution and underscores a shared commitment to sustainable economic impact. Nigeria’s Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, calls the event a strategic chance to attract funding aligned with national development goals. Organisers aim to build on past outcomes by facilitating new partnerships, reinforcing investment pipelines and driving dialogue on policy, financing and innovation. The forum further cements Nigeria’s standing as a prime destination for European capital.
