Delta Police Bust Fake Dollar Syndicate, Seize 1,600 Counterfeit Notes
The Delta State Police arrested four men in Asaba on June 9 after stopping an unregistered vehicle linked to a fake currency ring. Officers recovered 1,600 counterfeit US dollar bills and military camouflage during a follow-up raid at their hideout. On the same day, operatives of the Violent Crime Response Unit raided Owaliru and Alihame communities in Ika North-East LGA and apprehended two women with significant quantities of illicit substances, including GH Gold, Colorado, Cannabis, and Canadian Loud.
