Is God’s Forgiveness Truly Unlimited?

Many believers trust in God’s mercy but wonder if there is a point where forgiveness ends. Scripture shows that God forgives anyone who genuinely repents. Verses like 1 John 1:9 remind us that confession brings cleansing. Yet Romans 6 warns against using grace as an excuse to keep sinning. There is a vital difference between struggling with recurring sins and choosing to sin without remorse. Hebrews 10:26 cautions that persistent, willful sin can harden the heart even though God’s mercy never runs out. True repentance involves a desire to change. Proverbs 24:16 tells us that the righteous may fall, but they rise again. Forgiveness is immediate, but transformation is a journey.
