Why do some people believe that Jesus and Elijah ascended to heaven, yet mock a Nigerian pastor for making a similar claim? Is the difference faith, race, or an inferiority complex? I believe many Nigerians accept religious stories without questioning them, especially when they come from foreign cultures. But when similar claims are made locally, people quickly dismiss them. Religious leaders should be questioned, and people should not be exploited in the name of miracles or promised blessings. Faith should not stop anyone from thinking critically.
