Chelsea Confirm Danny Welbeck Signing From Brighton Until 2028

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck from Brighton & Hove Albion. The 35-year-old England international has signed a contract until 2028 and will join Xabi Alonso’s squad during the club’s pre-season tour. Welbeck scored 13 Premier League goals in 37 appearances for Brighton last season. He brings extensive top-flight experience, having won major trophies with Manchester United and later lifted the FA Cup with Arsenal.
