Regina Hall is an American actress best known for playing Brenda Meeks in the Scary Movie franchise. She has also appeared in The Best Man, Love & Basketball, Think Like a Man, Girls Trip and The Hate U Give. In 2018, she became the first Black actor to win the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress for Support the Girls. Born in Washington, D.C., on 12 December 1970, Hall studied communications at Fordham University and later earned a master’s degree in journalism from New York University. She began acting in the late 1990s and went on to feature in television series including Ally McBeal, Law & Order: LA, Black Monday and Insecure. Hall co-hosted the 94th Academy Awards in 2022 alongside Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes. Her reported net worth is estimated at about $6 million. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall.
