Do Not Let Sudden Comfort Distract You From Your Purpose

Joseph rose to power in Egypt, married and had children, yet he remained committed to the assignment God gave him. His sudden comfort did not distract him from purpose. Until you are established in your assignment, even answered prayers can become a snare. To stay focused, I must remain committed to God’s purpose for my life. I pray that my blessings will not distract me from my calling. May the Lord rescue me from the deception of sudden comfort, in Jesus’ name. Genesis 41:49–53.
