Malawi coach Lovemore Fazili says the Scorchers are determined to win the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations when they face Cameroon in Sunday’s final in Rabat. Malawi are appearing in their first WAFCON final after an unexpected run that included a 3-2 group-stage win over defending champions Nigeria. Fazili said his side respect Cameroon but believe they deserve to be regarded as a major team too.
