Rev. Funke Adejumo Warns Married Men: You Can’t Fully Please a Woman
In a recent sermon, Nigerian preacher and marriage counsellor Rev. Funke Felix-Adejumo advised husbands to be responsible in their homes but cautioned against sacrificing their health or lives trying to satisfy their wives. She reminded men that even God cannot completely please a woman, so they should focus on doing their best without overexerting themselves. The bishop illustrated her point by noting how women often enhance their natural features—like nails, eyebrows, and hair—seeking constant improvement. She argued that if people improve on what God gave them, no man can hope to satisfy every desire. Addressing wives, Rev. Adejumo urged women to pursue their own financial independence rather than rely solely on “sexually transmitted money.” Drawing from her own experience, she shared how she surprised her husband with 61 gifts when he turned 60, encouraging women to have their own resources and surprise their partners.
