UNIZIK Appoints Veteran Executive Valentine Ozigbo as Visiting Associate Professor

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Business School has welcomed Valentine Ozigbo as a Visiting Associate Professor. His appointment reflects UNIZIK’s goal of pairing rigorous scholarship with hands-on leadership experience. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bond Ugochukwu Anyaehie said UNIZIK aims to enrich its MBA curriculum by inviting top practitioners into the classroom. “Real-world insight is critical for tomorrow’s leaders,” he noted. Ozigbo spent over 30 years in senior roles at Transcorp Plc, UBA, Diamond Bank and Keystone Bank. He is known for governance reform, strategic transformation and civic engagement in Nigeria’s business and policy circles. Starting February 12, 2026, Ozigbo will teach organisational leadership and ethics on a pro bono basis. He sees this role as a chance to inspire principled leadership in the next generation of Nigerian executives.
