The Kano-based SURAGGWA roles are for a Social Safeguards and Gender Specialist, a Value Chains and Rural Finance Specialist, and an Ecological Project Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist. Each role runs for 12 months and requires relevant advanced qualifications, professional experience and Hausa language skills. FAO is also hiring an Assistant FAO Representative (Programme) in Abuja for an initial two-year renewable contract. Applications for the Kano safeguards and value-chain roles close on September 24, 2026, while the other two vacancies close on September 29, 2026.
