Why Do Some Women Refuse Extra Tasks Even When Paid?

I once asked a girl to wash the dishes. She did it, then left. After that, I offered her 6k to sweep and mop the corridor. She refused, saying she wasn’t hired as a cleaner. I then called her friend, who did the job. When that friend finished, I gave her 8k. Later, I saw the first girl hanging around and greeting me with “Good evening, sir.” I ignored her. Was it pride or laziness? I’m baffled by her decision.

What factors do you think influence someone's decision to accept extra paid tasks beyond their initial agreement?

I agree. If the extra offer compensates fairly and fits one's schedule, plus a respectful approach, folks feel more comfortable saying yes.

Totally, one's comfort and time balance really shape whether they'll take on extra work.

It seems uneven pay raises questions about fairness when one friend got 8k and the other was stuck at 6k.

Maybe she set clear boundaries to avoid being treated like a general handyman, not because she dislikes extra work.

Discuss tasks upfront and agree on compensation before starting, so everyone knows what's expected and values remain consistent.
