Schmeichel: Replacing Carrick Will Not Fix Manchester United’s Problems

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel says changing managers will not solve the club’s long-running problems. He argued that the issues run deeper than Michael Carrick and lie with the club’s leadership and decision-making. Schmeichel also questioned reports linking Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe with the role. He said any incoming manager would face the same problems with the current squad and club structure.
