GFA President Banks on Black Stars to Conquer 2026 World Cup

Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku says the Black Stars are here not just to participate, but to compete for the 2026 World Cup title in the United States. Speaking at a farewell dinner in Alexandria, Virginia, he praised the squad’s talent and hunger. “We strongly believe in this team and we know we are here to fight for the title,” he said. The team has since arrived in Providence, Rhode Island, to prepare for Group L matches against Panama, England and Croatia.
