Former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun Loses Husband, Anthony Adeosun, at 62

Anthony Adeniyi “Niyi” Adeosun, the husband of former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun, has died at the age of 62. The Adeosun family said he died in Lagos on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. He was described as a businessman and devoted Christian known for his integrity, generosity and commitment to his family and community. He is survived by his wife, Kemi, children and siblings. The family said funeral and burial arrangements will be announced later.
