Mary Njoku Urges Christians to Take Responsibility Instead of Misusing Scripture

Mary Njoku has urged Christians not to use the phrase “touch not my anointed” to avoid accountability for their public words or actions. She said the passage should apply where a person is being falsely accused, lied against or deliberately harmed. However, she argued that when people face consequences for things they said or did publicly, they should reflect, apologise where necessary, provide context and move on. Njoku added that religious leaders are human and can make mistakes. She called for accountability, grace and understanding for everyone.
