1 / 4

Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has called on the police and EFCC to arrest therapist Blessing CEO for allegedly fabricating a cancer diagnosis and soliciting donations under false pretenses. According to reports, Dr Adefunke Arowolo revealed on national television that Blessing presented a viral medical report linking her to stage 4 breast cancer. The doctor named on the document denied any involvement and the original patient’s details were altered, suggesting forgery. Blessing later admitted she raised ₦13 million in public donations but said she relied on information given to her by the unnamed doctor. She also maintained she has no regrets and refused to apologise to Nigerians. Georgina condemned the behaviour as deceptive and criminal. She warned that such lies undermine trust in genuine patients and urged full legal accountability and restitution.
