Onirete of Irete-Ijebu Marks Fifth Coronation Anniversary, Calls for Investment

The Onirete of Irete-Ijebu, Oba Abdul-Ganiyu Olusegun Awokoya-Yesufu, marked his fifth coronation anniversary on October 18 with traditional rulers, political leaders and community stakeholders in attendance. The celebration was held in Irete-Ijebu, Ogun State. Guests included Senator Gbenga Daniel, Ogun lawmaker Lukman Adeleye, the Regent of Ijebu Land, Dr Sonny Kuku, and several monarchs from Ijebuland. The monarch thanked the Ogun State Government for elevating the Irete-Ijebu traditional institution to a second-class Obaship. He urged indigenes, investors and members of the diaspora to support development in sectors including agriculture, education, healthcare, hospitality, real estate and manufacturing.
