Nasarawa United's Hot Streak Sparks NPFL Title Debate
Nasarawa United have climbed to third in the NPFL after a five-match unbeaten run that includes four wins, a draw and five consecutive clean sheets. The Solid Miners have taken 13 points from a possible 15 and recorded notable victories over Inter Lagos and Enyimba. Their defensive record has been especially impressive, with no goals conceded in more than 450 minutes of football. The run has divided Nigerian football fans. Some believe Nasarawa United have the organisation and momentum to challenge for the title, while others say it is too early to judge. Their upcoming fixtures will show whether they can sustain their form.
