NUC Verifies LASUSTECH Resources for Broadcasting, PR and Journalism Programmes

The National Universities Commission has begun a resource verification exercise at the Lagos State University of Science and Technology for its proposed Broadcasting, Public Relations, and Journalism and Media Studies programmes. The verification team, led by Professor Uwaoma Uche, was received by LASUSTECH Vice-Chancellor Professor Olumuyiwa Odusanya and other university officials on August 17, 2026. The team will assess lecturers, facilities, equipment, library resources and other requirements needed to run the programmes effectively. Its findings will guide the NUC’s decision on the university’s readiness to offer the courses.
