Candidates must have 12–18 years post‐qualification experience (with at least 10 years in a Polytechnic/TVET), five years at Deputy Registrar rank, ICT proficiency, professional body membership, and must be under 60 years of age. Polytechnic Librarian Role: Requires a Master’s in Library Science or Information Science (PhD preferred) plus a lower-credit HND or second-class lower degree. Applicants need 18 years of tertiary library experience (10 in a Polytechnic), five years as Chief Librarian, ICT skills, professional body membership, scholarly publications, and must be under 60 years old.
