Before You Learn Another Skill, Learn How to Monetise the One You Have
Many young people move from graphic design to UI/UX, digital marketing, coding, data analysis and other courses without a clear goal. The result can be plenty of certificates but little practical value or income. Before taking another course, decide what you want your current skill to achieve. It could help you get a job, freelance, solve a problem, grow a business or improve your career. Direction should come before learning. Strengthen your core skill by mastering it, teaching it, getting paid for it, adding complementary knowledge and showing your work. Marketing, sales, communication, networking and technology can multiply the value of an existing skill. Focus on five steps: build a valuable skill, solve real problems, show your work, sell your value and scale with systems and technology. Your next level may come from better execution and visibility, not another certificate.
