God’s mighty hand always brings blessing and favour. It delivers captives and frees the oppressed. In Exodus, Pharaoh resisted until God forced him to release the Israelites. They then experienced protection, provision and light. Egypt, however, became a shadow of itself. When Moses struck the ground and turned dust into lice, even Egyptian magicians called it the finger of God. Yet Pharaoh remained stubborn until God’s hand overcame him. At the Jordan, God made a way on dry land to show His power. If you belong to Him, He will work all things for your good. But if you reject Him, you risk facing His mighty hand.
