Daughter Apologizes After Police Expose Mother’s Fake N50m Kidnapping

They confirmed she staged the entire episode to extort money. I am deeply sorry for the deception and was unaware of the plan. I only spoke up as a concerned daughter. I promise to update everyone as the case progresses.

It's striking how quickly sympathy and donations poured in before any verification took place, leaving many donors vulnerable to deceit.

Next time, verify fundraiser claims directly with authorities or trusted contacts before donating, it could save you from unethical scams.
