Tinubu Delays Start of France–Kenya–Rwanda Tour by One Day
President Bola Tinubu has pushed back the launch of his three-nation diplomatic tour. He will now depart Abuja on Sunday instead of Saturday. The Presidency’s Special Adviser on Information confirmed the adjustment. The trip will begin in France, then move to Nairobi for the Africa-France Summit on May 11–12, where leaders will discuss energy transition, green industry, digital transformation, climate action and global finance reform. Next, the President will travel to Kigali for the Africa CEO Forum on May 14–15. His participation is designed to strengthen Nigeria’s partnerships and showcase economic reforms to attract investment. No reason was given for the one-day shift, and core engagements remain unchanged.
