NYSC Corps Member Enhances Learning at GDSS Thabu with New Benches
A NYSC corps member serving in Adamawa State has donated benches to Government Day Secondary School Thabu in Hong LGA as part of his Community Development Service project. Moved by the sight of students sitting on the floor, Suur Tyosaa Demian mobilized community support and presented the new benches at a ceremony attended by district and village heads, school staff, NYSC officials, and fellow corps members. Mrs. Chakaseda Shehu, NYSC Local Government Inspector for Hong, praised the initiative and urged other corps members to follow suit. She also reminded school authorities to maintain the benches properly. Vice Principal Academics Malam Musa Isa thanked the corps member and highlighted how the donation would improve learning conditions. He encouraged more projects that address pressing needs in host communities.
