Michael Jordan’s ‘Last Dance’ Finals Jersey Sells for Record £9.3m
Michael Jordan’s game-worn jersey from Game 3 of the 1998 NBA Finals has sold for £9.3 million ($12.26 million), setting a new record for Jordan memorabilia. The Chicago Bulls jersey, worn during Jordan’s final championship-winning season, was sold through a digital auction platform. It surpassed the previous record of $10.1 million paid for his Game 1 jersey from the same Finals series. Jordan’s 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello also sold at the auction for £2 million ($2.7 million). However, Babe Ruth’s 1932 World Series jersey remains the most expensive game-worn sports item ever sold, at $24.1 million.
