Law Student Injured in Intense Good Friday Passion Play

Second-year law student Dennis Zziwa of Kampala International University was injured while portraying Jesus Christ during the Good Friday Way of the Cross procession at Our Lady of Africa Church in Mbuya, Uganda. During the reenactment, he received strong beatings to simulate the Passion, sustaining multiple injuries. Red Cross responders administered first aid on the spot, and Dennis was later transferred to Lamone Health Center in Luzira for further medical care.
