Lawyer Appeals to President for AK-47 Licence Amid Rising Insecurity

Lawyer Appeals to President for AK-47 Licence Amid Rising Insecurity

Your Excellency, I am a legal practitioner and law-abiding Nigerian citizen, medically fit and of sound mind. I have not been convicted of any violent offence in the past five years. Under Section 3 of the Firearms Act, I apply for a licence to possess a 6.147 Premium AK-47 assault rifle. This request is made in view of the high level of insecurity in the country. I seek this weapon to defend my person, family and property against criminals with sophisticated arms. I will pay all statutory fees and respectfully request urgent consideration. I look forward to your favourable response. Yours faithfully,
