Owolowo Cooperative Declares ₦425m Surplus as OWO Group Launches Owoniyi with ₦81.8m
At its 45th AGM, Owolowo Makun Sagamu Cooperative reported a net surplus of ₦425 million for 2025. The gathering also marked the 2nd AGM of OWO Group Cooperative Investment, underscoring the cooperative family’s growing financial strength. The meeting featured twelve strategic board and general sessions last year, a review of savings and loans, and a robust plan to tackle overdue credits. Staff welfare was honoured with awards for long service, reflecting the union’s commitment to its workforce. A highlight was the official recognition of Owoniyi Makun Sagamu C.M.U. Ltd. The new union starts with 18 societies and a take-off surplus of ₦81.8 million. Stakeholders celebrated deeper cooperative supervision and ongoing investment projects within the OWO Group.
