Seeking IT Job Opportunities in Kano After NYSC

I am a 26-year-old Muslim who studied in the southwest until NYSC posted me to Ungogo, Kano. I hold an HND in Computer Engineering Technology and served as Corps Liaison Officer, finishing in June 2025. I stayed in Kano to explore the region after service. I currently freelance online with digital skills to sustain myself. I’ve just enrolled in the National Open University of Nigeria in Kano, starting from 300 level in Computer Science. I expect to complete my degree in two years. I need a stable IT job. I’m tired of irregular online work and want a fresh challenge that matches my education and skills. Any leads or advice are welcome.

Staying in Kano for exploration is great, but major tech companies are often centered in Lagos and Abuja right now.

Freelancing alone in Kano might limit your growth; you may need to pitch for remote projects or join active tech groups elsewhere.
